Dear friends,
Tomorrow, history will be written. The entire nation will see COLS activity getting conducted all over India. Every state chapter, city branch and every member of ISA has put in 100% efforts to make this activity a grand success.
Looking at the enthusiasm of all the members, I am really overwhelmed.
Now it is like a Snow ball rolling, it will keep enlarging in size as it rolls and will bring the avalanche like effect all across India about COLS. I wish all the best to everyone. Sincere Efforts always results in victory.
At the same time, I am very happy to inform you that, all the preparation to conduct COLS on occasion of WRAH program has be done across Maharashtra.
All the city branches are targeting 1500 to 2000 and some branches are targeting 20000. The best part is, the inauguration of the activity for the state, will done by CM and Health Minister of Maharashtra state Government in Mantralaya. The main secretariat office of Maharashtra state Government tom at 9.30 am.
This inauguration ceremony will be followed by full day hands on training of all the Ministers, MLA, Secretaries and all the staff of secretariat.
The program is expected create big wave of COLS awareness. 20 ISA members from all across state will be conducting this activity in Mantralaya on behalf of ISA Maharashtra state chapter.
COLS workshop on occasion of WRAH is just the beginning of an on going activity all across nation. First time, all the ISA members of entire nation is coming on one platform for the social cause. The cause, which is one of the best humanitarian cause, of teaching how to save life of cardiac arrest victim.
This will also create huge awareness about our faculty- Anesthesia and Anesthesiologist as well. This will establish ISA as a brand in entire society. It's like dream come true.
But as I said, this is just the beginning. It is the momentum which will gain more and more speed in future as we are talking about training 100 crore plus population of India.
Hence forth no one should say that life has no value in India.
We are proud that we the ISA took initiative and formulated IRC- Indian resuscitation Council, and given the nation our own resuscitation guidelines.
Today I am not only proud to be an Anaesthesiologist but also proud to be a member of ISA.
Long live resuscitation. Long live ISA IRC. All the best to every one.
Dr. Hitendra Mahajan
Consultant Anaesthesiologist Nashik.
